12/10/2013: Los Angeles city highlights

Today is a beautiful day - fine and sunny. There is no sign of pollution for a city known for pollution haze. The air is very clear.

I get picked up at the hotel and taken to the Starline Tours depot for the first tour of the Los Angeles (LA) portion of my trip.

I took the *Grand City Tour of Los Angeles*. Stops included: Hollywood Bowl; Chinese Theatre; Walk of Fame; Kodak (aka Dolby) Theater; Tiffany & Co; La Brea tar pits;  Farmers Market; downtown LA.

The guide for this tour knew his stuff especially the early history of LA when it was part of Mexico.

The tour ended back at the Starline Tours depot where I got a transfer back to the hotel.
